About YKK Internship
Manipulating Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop software are my learning focus during my internship.
I had to cope with many challenges when designing the zippers, which were the main products of YKK. Therefore, I spent a lot of effort and attention to the minor details, likes color, lines, format and size of the patterns.
I had to familiarised with the characteristics, terminology, and descriptions of YKK zippers within a short period of time. Such concepts are essential to determine the adequate zippers for the current fashion.
Studio Internship
With Watsons
It has been a pleasure to be a member of Augus Studio. The project was interesting and meaningful, and I especially love the part where it is required to use Watson's out-dated staff uniform to design a unique recycling bag. I have learned that fashion is more than just giving aesthetic experiences, but it also covers other topics like environmental issues. As Angus has said, fashion is to be the top of the trend and caring for the environment.
